On the 18th of October, The Higher Education Video Game Alliance and the University of Skövde will be hosting a roundtable session for academics visiting the Sweden Game Conference. The roundtable is in part intended as a follow-up to the higher education symposium held at Gotland Game Conference earlier this year, and we will continue discussing a few topics that arose during that event (e.g., what would a European HEVGA network look like and what would its function be, and possibilities of jointly organized summer schools for MSc and PhD students). However, the roundtable will also serve as an opportunity to network and to strengthen the growing network of Nordic game scholars. The stage is also very much open to short presentations and idea pitches from anyone who wishes to contribute – if you have up
coming projects, events, or opportunities you would like to share with other academics, please feel free to do so!
The roundtable will be hosted from 11:00-12:00, at the top floor of the conference building.
