This will be about 40 – 50 minutes about my journey from Sweden to Japan, my background and how I ended up writing music for some of Japans biggest AAA developers. The communication chain for a foreigner wanting to work in Japan and a small glimpse into some of my biggest AAA titles.
My talk will be about my working style with the theme of using the philosophy of Bruce Lee’s “Flow-state” in all of my music work. I will also talk about how it is to get involved in the Yakuza – series and their spin-offs, how I started working for Capcom on their major Main Series Resident Evil 6 and how I currently approached my work on Street Fighter V (Season 2 and 3 Character’s and Mini-stories.) and how I feel about having better communication between programmers and the audio-implementation team and my future vision.
Daniel Lindholm is since 2008 working as a freelancing music-producer, arranger, sound-designer and as a virtual orchestrator in Japan. His work has been heard in well known game series such as Street Fighter, Yakusa and Resident Evil.
